A much sought-after vacancy has arisen for a School Receptionist and Administrator to work full time, term time only + 4 weeks, at a School that enjoys a reputation of high academic standards within a caring, happy environment.
St.
Andrew's School is looking to appoint a highly organised, articulate and friendly individual to provide full-time receptionist duties and assist with administrative tasks in the Main School Office.
You will be the welcoming face of the school and will provide a positive first impression to all visitors, students and staff members.
You will need to be adaptable and confident with good spoken and written communication skills, an excellent telephone mannerand the ability to stay calm under pressure.
The role also requires delivery of first aid and medication to KS2 pupils and responsibility for managing the first aid requirements for pupils with specific medical needs.
Experience working within a school environment and knowledge of an MIS would be advantageous.
You will have:
- A good standard of general education with strong IT skills and experience using standard office programmes.
- Organisational skills are essential with the proven ability to prioritise your work and ability to deal with a wide range of situations.
- Ideally you will have experience of working in a School Office although we will consider transferable skills.
- The ability to work under pressure in a friendly and professional manner, dealing with staff, parents and members of the public.
