RSR Justice are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Black Country for an Accommodations Complex needs worker.

This is a full time, permanent role and offers a salary of £21,801 - £23,850.


Travel is required between accommodation sites so having a valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.


Main Duties:


  • Responsible for delivering an effective system of contact, care and support to clients that have multi needs; this includes gathering information regarding the client and their circumstances and assessing requirements for support.
  • Effectively communicate with clients in a manner and pace that is appropriate.
  • Work with identified complex needs clients who present with substance misuse, mental health, care and support needs to overcome barriers to services and engagement.
  • Ensure that clients practical and support needs are identified and a joint support plan developed with clear lines of accountability and responsibility.
  • Work with a small targeted caseload and provide bespoke services with the aim of bringing about real improvements for the most entrenched and complex service users.
  • Provide frequent/intensive input (eg. 4 / 5 times a week) and recognise there may be regression as well as progress.
  • Develop an Individual Action Plan with each service user in conjunction with other agencies and professionals who will need to be involved.
  • Follow and monitor the service user's progress, providing input as required, to ensure the targets set on the Individual Action Plan are met.
  • Support established/existing risk assessments framework in assessing and managing risk.
  • Responsible for the delivery of one to one and group work targeted domestic abuse intervention sessions.
  • Facilitate the service user's journey to secondary services and other voluntary and statutory services as needed including acting as broker between secondary care services to avoid clients being "bounced" around teams.
  • Adopt agreed compliance monitoring which includes mapping a service user's journey and case management systems and keep appropriate casework and administrative records, case studies and reports.
  • Work closely with members of the local delivery services and taking a lead on multiagency meetings where a service user's support needs are discussed.

Essential Requirements:


  • Educated to minimum Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Relevant and extensive experience in the field of complex needs, particularly mental health, substance misuse, and including homelessness and offending.
  • Experience of working in a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of the issues facing women, children and young people affected by violence against women.
