Description

The Post Holder will assist in the delivery of a high quality intensive assessment and treatment service for children/young people and their families referred to CAMHS Tier 4 in Lothian.

The intensive treatment services aim to provide alternatives to admission and reduce length of admissions for children and young people under the age of 18 presenting with severe or complex mental health problems.

The post is initially situated within the CAMHS Day Service provision.

The post holder will assist in the delivery of intensive care and treatment in both day and community settings, accepting work delegated by senior nurses within the Intensive Treatment Services and specific roles in the day service provision.

The post holder may work unsupervised in conjunction with the case manager (key worker), and will be involved in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans.
