We are looking for aspiring Trainee Health Physics Monitors for our client based on a project in Aldermaston, Reading.

Permenant

Salary:

£22,000k (with increases associated with training)

Role Description:
Opportunities to travel to sites across the UK (Travel & Site Allowances will be provided to ensure comfort wherever you are based)

Work under supervision and direction of Site Supervisor, Mentor and Radiation Protection Supervisor whilst learning both theoretical and practical elements of Health Physics (HP) and Decommissioning.

You will deliver on projects which will involve decommissioning, decontamination, size reduction and waste management activities. To perform activities and carry out assessments on tasks, equipment or environments, which have radiological impact.

Role requirements:

GCSE Maths and English C+ (or equivalent)
UK Driving Licence
Well organised with the ability to work to timescales and demonstrate attention to detail
Routine recording and reporting of information both verbal and numerical
Familiar with structuring and presentation of own work
Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information
Competent user of MS Office
Ability to communicate with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and with external stakeholders and contractors.
