Celebrating 20 years, Freefolk are a team of Emmy-winning creative artists, technicians, producers and problem solvers who use post-production as their toolbox.

Working closely with clients in the advertising, film, TV and music industries, we provide full-service post-production and VFX, including high-end colour grading, 2D & 3D visual effects, shoot supervision, animation, design, direction and concept.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic recruiter with a friendly, positive attitude and brilliant communication skills.

As a creative company, we are looking for someone who is interested in learning more about the VFX industry as you will be supporting both our Commercials and Film and Episodic departments with their recruiting needs.


We currently operate a hybrid working system but we are looking for someone who would enjoy working in an office environment and is within a commutable distance to our London office.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and build on our existing freelance database.
  • Perform reference checks as needed.
  • Facilitate the offer process and negotiate employment terms
  • Be the main point of contact for new starters and our HR department.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Attend and organise relevant recruiting events at fairs and universities.
  • Build connections with universities by organising talks and site visits.
  • Be responsible for the annual Futurefolk Internship Scheme.
  • Manage Freefolk's involvement in New Talent Schemes and events.

Desirable Skills:


  • 2 or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in the VFX industry
  • Some previous experience in an HR role is preferable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
