Service Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Location:
Kings Hill


Salary:
£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, pro-rata


Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm


Job type: 12-month contract with potential to go permanent
Our client, a leading regional compressor supply company are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join their busy team. Their pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service and unparalleled quality of work.


Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator:


  • Scheduling and booking of engineers' work. (five engineers, requiring approximately 1020 jobs booked per day).
  • Daily diary management duties of engineers' work.
  • Day to day support of the service team and to assist with management of engineers.
  • Utilising our CRM system which is used for scheduling work and majority of service activities.
  • To prepare formal quotations for; servicerelated works, remedial works (including technical specification), annual contract renewals and to ensure conversion to order via chasing
  • To complete a variety of service administration tasks, such as warranty claim progression
  • To take calls from engineers and customers, to troubleshoot and solve technical and coordination issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Processing of completed jobs including invoice inputting.
  • Liaising with the colleagues to ensure the continuity of operations.
  • To assist and cover other Service Team member duties during absence or busy periods
  • To meet office KPI's and targets as set by the directors
  • To provide management reports as required
  • To assist with answering the office telephones as required
  • Updating information on our CRM
  • Issuing RAMS and health and safety information required for works

Requirements of the Service Coordinator:


  • Minimum of two years' experience in a customer and engineer facing role within a service team, also within a technical/engineering industry
  • Experience in scheduling workloads for engineers and daytoday coordination
  • Experience in quoting technical works, i.e. remedial and planned preventative maintenance
  • Demonstrate having working to KPI's
  • Understanding of basic business processes quoting, purchase orders, invoicing, etc.
  • Strong team work ethics
  • Good literacy, manor and customer servicebased language skills
  • Good geographical awareness
  • Proactive in their approach to learning and development
  • Strong communicator and an eye for detail
  • Be able to read the situation around them and when speaking to customers 'situational awareness'
