Leading Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Company based in Northumberland seeks an experienced QA Customer Liaison Officer.About the role:
The customer liaison officer will manage and coordinate the delivery of business-critical quality services to ensure that customers' expectations are exceeded.
As a customer focused representative of the quality team, you will be the key point of contact for the customer group, coordinating activities across the quality department & wider site.
The role requires excellent coordination with clear and adaptable communication with external and internal stakeholders, such as Vendors, Clients, Quality, Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Procurement.
Duties may include:
- To coordinate activity/actions stemming from queries and meetings assigning relevant resources
- To proactively communicate and track activity completion requests.
- To provide a timely response to customer requests and ensure feedback is always provided of the status of activity/actions.
- To work closely with the QA department and customer facing site representatives, to gain background and understanding on customer specific requirements.
- Assist the Quality team during customer audits
- Manage client expectations in a cooperative, professional manner
- Build, develop and maintain a collaborative relationship between the company and client, to enhance customer service offering
- Establish and monitor in accordance with customer expectation, appropriate Key Performance indicators including quality, delivery, safety and cost, as appropriate
- Perform Continued Improvement activity within site team to enhance the customer service offering where needed
- To work alongside the project and finance team, to provide suitable quotations to customers for work requested outside the agreed terms.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar role (QA, QC, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of GMP, including the MHRA's Orange Guide, EU's Eudralex Vol. 4, USA's CFRs, ISO, ICH, GAMP and PIC/S. The requirements of a qualification life cycle within pharma
- Detailed knowledge and experience of quality management systems
- Relevant and demonstrable experience within the Pharma or Healthcare sectors
- Good grasp on products and portfolio
- A University Degree is preferred for this role, but not essential (experience dependent)
