SEND Support Assistant

Salary / Rate:
£75 - £85 per day

Location:
Salford
A Secondary School in Salford is looking for a strong SEND Support Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis

The school is rated "GOOD" by Ofsted, has a very supportive staff team and has good transport links and parking facilities.

This is a very friendly school where we have placed several SEND Support Assistants and Teachers into supply and long-term roles.

The feedback we have from teachers is that the staff are supportive and collaborative, and that behaviour standards across theschool are very good.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be a SEND Support Assistant across year 711 supporting the class Teacher
You will be responsible for taking small groups of children to support with group and 121 support with English, reading
You will support a small group of SEN pupils with phonics sessions

Required Skills & Experience:

You must have previous experience supporting children with additional needs
You must have expeirence of working with children aged 11+
