Description
AW Baxter are looking for a part time Administrator to assist Monday - Wednesday in a busy transport office.


The main duties of the role will be to process all of our drivers and subcontractors delivery notes, fuel receipts and expenses from the previous week.

Delivery notes must be split, scanned and allocated to the correct job ready for invoicing, whilst expenses and fuel receipts must be logged accurately and uploaded to the pay roll system.


Other duties include but not limited to:

  • Assisting the planning team with administrative duties
  • Typing up jobs in our system ready for invoicing
  • Cross checking costs
  • Calculating delivery mileages
  • Chasing missing delivery notes from drivers & sub contractors
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling meetings & taking meeting minutes
  • Entering customer orders into the system
  • Providing customers with delivery ETA's

Experience:


  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role required
  • Very high level of computer literacy
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
Salary - DOE


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wolverhampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
