Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

Participate in the production and packing of all Kirsty's products made on site ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety legislation.

Main Duties

Work according to Standard Operating Practice's and hit production targets;
Working on a fastpaced manufacturing / production line;
Picking of ingredients to service the line;
Monitoring and packing finished products ready for despatch;
Carrying out quality checks on products;
Package items to company guidelines;
Ensure paperwork and packaging for collections and couriers is completed;
Handling raw meat;
Be available to cover productions runs at short notice, with additional hours as required;
Filling up crates with product.
Observe and maintain safety levels with attention to machinery and electrical equipment.
Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements.
Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene.
Liaise and communicate with other teams.
Regular cleaning of work area and weekly deep cleaning as per cleaning schedule
Disposal of all production waste as required, i.e. product packaging, empty containers etc.
To undertake other duties within the Manufacturing team and the wider business as deemed reasonable by the company.
Compliance with food safety, quality and legality in line with company policy and to promote and encourage a positive food safety culture.
