Do you have a passion for Data analysis?
We are looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our Data and Insight team within Technology.
You will be part of a team responsible for the creation, maintenance, and distribution of BAU reports and dashboards.

You will also assist in various ad-hoc data and reporting projects with analysis and interpretation of data sets from a range of data sources.

The analyst will be responsible for resolving internal and external customers queries and ensuring that reports are accurate, relevant and assist in data-driven decision making.

What you'll be doing:

Manipulate, analyse and interpret commercial data sets to provide insights to business partners
Produce high quality BAU and adhoc reporting, in line with an agreed schedule
Supervise trends in data and reporting and bring up potential issues to the line manager
Own and maintain BI reports and dashboards
Identify and resolve errors in existing reports and dashboards
Identify and suggest areas of improvement and automation
Ensure that all relevant data protection, information security and data retention policies are adhered to.
Proactively support to the Head of CDR in all aspects of data and reporting.

What you'll bring:

Experience in data collation, cleansing and preparation.
Excellent Excel skills, solid experience in using Power Query editor.
Experience of work with BI tools
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience of working with 3rd party reporting solutions (preferable Power BI)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work multifunctionally with other colleagues and partners
Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Ability to engage and connect with people at all levels within the business and within external customers
Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills

It would be phenomenal if you had:

Experience working with Alteryx
Experience of working within the public sector and/or NHS

circa £30,000 dependant on experience
