Do you want to work for one of the UK's leading housing service providers in the UK? As a growing organisation we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join our Housing division in Exeter.
With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs and maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver more than 6,000 repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.
We provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
More about the position:
We are looking for someone with with energy, motivation and a love of numbers to join our small, friendly team in Exeter.
- Engaging with colleagues, subcontractors and our client base over the telephone
- Ensuring the effective & consistent flow of jobs through our internal contract management database MCM including checking of paperwork and that jobs are coded correctly
- Administration of subcontractor orders via MSP
- Reporting on profit percentages to management
- Support the invoicing process including the management of debt & WIP
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient daytoday management of the office including ordering of supplies, uniform, parking permits, PPE etc.
What you need to have:
- Good IT Skills
- Confident with finances and numbers
- Great written and verbal communication
- Outstanding Customer Service skills
