Absolute Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client who is one of world's largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

Our Client supplies food products to help keep schools, hospitals and restaurants stocked and supplied with food and drinks.

To support our clients increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking Warehouse Handball Operatives to assist in our warehouse operations.

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday

Full Time or Part Time Hours Available
Pay Rate £10.80 per hour

The role

In this role you will:

Get a lot of exercise being on your feet all day and walking around the warehouse; the job is quite physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food and bottles of drinks.
You will do this in either our Ambient warehouse or our Coldstore warehouse.
In our Coldstore warehouse you can expect the average temperature to be around 20 degrees, but you will receive full PPE if required to do so, it's just like working in a giant freezer.
Record the amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory.
Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor.
We are working in a safety conscious environment, and you will need to follow safety procedures at all times.

Who our client is looking for:

Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time.
Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to around 20kg (that's about bags of sugar).

Due to cold storage conditions, you must be aged 18 or over & have experience in freezer / refrigerated warehouse.
