Stock Controller/Stores Person
Permanent after successful completion of 3 month probationary period
Start Date - ASAP
40 hours per week
You will effectively manage stock activity and ensure materials and services are expedited in order to satisfy current planned requirements.
- Management of all relevant paperwork
- Ensuring all stock is logged on the system correctly
- Regular stock checks
- Receiving goods inwards and ensuring materials are issued to the correct jobs
- Management of Kanban system
- Expediting materials and advising the engineering department of any long lead times
- Working with the procurement manager to improve stock levels and stores processes
- Quarterly / Annual stock takes
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Manage stock inventory appropriately
- Be able to prioritise workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external suppliers
Desirable:
- Full driving licence
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 13 weeks

From £9.50 per hour
