Are you interested in working as a Health Care Assistant within the operating theatres at Broomfield Hospital and Braintree Community Hospital, Orthopaedic & General Theatres?

We are a modern theatre unit across Mid Essex, with state of the art technology. Our friendly, dedicated and highly skilled team demand the very best care for patients at all times.


You would be working under the direction of our registered theatre staff undertaking duties relating to the care of patients including the preparation and cleaning of the theatres.


There are lots of opportunities to develop your skills with our competency package and in house training which is open to all of our staff.


The Health Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse/ODP to assist qualified staff in delivering a safe and effective patient focused care to all service users in the theatre suite/recovery/Step down Area department.
