We are on the lookout for an experienced Yard operative, Utilities experience preferred.

As Yard operative your duties will include but not limited to unloading of materials, receiving and checking against orders, data entry and paperwork, track the materials and equipment on site.

The storeman will assist in ordering new stock/materials with the correct implementation of regular stock checks.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals from the storeroom/containers
Receive, unload, and store supplies
Introduce and maintain a sufficient stock inventory
Perform other stockrelated duties, including returning and labelling stores
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to the accounting department/buyer for reimbursements and record keeping
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and

- maintain inventory control

Coordinate the handling of stores/materials, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
Issuing of tools/machinery and PPE to operatives
General housekeeping of yard and stores
Maintain security of stores
Work to and demonstrate correct health and safety procedures at all times

Experience and Skills required:
Must have a telehandler or forklift ticket

Full UK Driver's Licence
