We are working with a freight forwarding company who are searching for a Import Customer Service Coordinator. You will be working on the Ocean Freight Team


Job Role:

Providing excellent customer service to their customers and overseas partners.

Processing import jobs from the booking stage all the way through to delivery, this will include, costings, invoicing and completing customs clearance requirements.


  • Assist with all Ocean Freight queries
  • Providing customers with quotes when requested
  • Invoicing
  • Ensure all consignments are loaded onto their systems prior to departure
  • Ensure all pre alert documents have been received from the overseas partners
  • Complete the custom clearance report on behalf of the customer
  • Check for payments ahead
  • Chase the delivery companies to ensure the customers delivery requirements are met
  • Identify and help with any issues and problems that may occur with their shipments

Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
