Our client is well reputed for the quality and cross-border advice they provide to their high profile clientele, from the shipping, transport, energy and commodities sector organizations.

One of the most well-regarded and accomplished firms within the shipping industry, encompassing transactional, advisory and contentious work.


The Role


This is a unique opportunity to join a market leader within the shipping industry, and specialize in litigation and arbitration matters on behalf of Owners, P&I Clubs, insurers, banks involved in the maritime sector as well as other parties in the regional industry.

As an additional advantage, you'll be joining the Athens office and be part of renowned Greek shipping community. The size of the team will allow you to get direct ownership over market-leading clients and build strong relationships.


Some responsibilities include:

  • Dry shipping litigationWet casualties
Ship finance/restructuring

You have to be UK or Greek lawyer, coming from an equally reputable shipping practice with over 2 years of post-qualification experience.

A strong motivation to relocate to Athens is required, but there is no need for you to know the Greek language or Greek law.
