About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Projects Coordinator to join the Psychology Department to provide quality research support to enthusiastic teams of academics leading research projects.

In particular, you will assist with the development of a project on the cognitive processes underpinning authoritarian dispositions in the non-clinical population and will work to develop and implement a series of behavioral experiments.

You will gain experience with all aspects of the research process which could serve as a springboard towards a PhD.

About You

As Research Projects Coordinator, you will:

Have experience in empirical research in cognitive psychology (e.g., experiment design and implementation, participant testing, dataset management).
Have experience with data analysis software packages, such as SPSS or R. Programming skills would also be a benefit.
Possess a good academic background (degree classification of 2;1) in Psychology or related discipline (e.g., neuroscience, cognitive science).
Be proactive and highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, a willingness to learn and a keen interest in the topic.
