Contract Type:
Catering Supervisor, permanent, term time.


Hours: 25 Hours per week


Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday, 5 hrs daily. Flexible Times Across 08:00 - 14:30


Salary:
£11.56 Per Hour


Location:
Various Runcorn, Cheshire schools.


Job Introduction


As a Catering Supervisor you will be responsible for running a school kitchen; including preparing, cooking and serving school meals.

What you'll do:


  • Prepare, cook and serve food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned processes and procedures at all times
  • Monitoring the quality of the food and service provided, achieving good quality product and service on time and within budget
  • Be punctual with your timekeeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
  • Monitor and advise on stock usage; rotating stock, ensuring food stocks don't run out and ordering stock as required
  • Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
  • Take the lead in running a kitchen as and when requested to do so by the business

Requirements:

Catering / Kitchen experience for high volumes is required for this role and experience in team leading and/or a supervisory position would be advantageous

You should also have a Level 2 (or higher) Food certification and a strong knowledge of allergen awareness

Additional Information


Due to the nature of the sites an Enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the Company.
