Contract Type- Permanent- Employment Type- Full-Time- Working Requirements- On Site- Hours- 9:00am to 6:00pm- Salary- Competitive- Division- Residential- Location- 55 Baker StreetBased from our Global Headquarters in 55 Baker Street, London, our Residential International department are looking for hire a Head of Iberian Peninsula.

You will manage the buyer and client database, have direct knowledge of properties through extensive travel and forge relationships with our associated agents across Spain & Portugal.

This will be undertaken as part of a dedicated team with direct training, focused on achieving set sales targets.

Responsibilities

Business Generation & Fee Income

  • Active applicant management through structured contact with buyers, which will form a minimum of 50% of a typical day.
  • Continual monitoring and review of instruction base, to ensure each location has sufficient properties of a quality suited to current market demand, and of sufficient quantity to achieve agreed business targets.
  • This would be achieved through ongoing and regular travel to each territory, ensuring a direct knowledge of the instruction base, and in doing so maintaining good relations with Knight Frank associates/representatives.
  • Understand the regions in which we operate and have a sound knowledge of contemporary property values together with a keen awareness of local competition.
  • Active vendor care and reporting, ensuring both client approval of all published material and that all instructions are maintained at the right level, through clients 'listening to our advice'. Also ensuring accurate file notes of all client contact.
  • Assist the team in maintaining a high profile in the international property market, at all times seeking to build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients, in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.

Professional Experience & Personal Skills Profile

  • Knowledge and enthusiasm in order to persuade applicants to visit properties, and vendors to instruct Knight Frank.
  • Skills of negotiation and persuasion to enable the effective closing of sales
  • Creativity to produce clear, concise and accurate sales particulars, presentations and other written communications.
  • Capacity to respond effectively and professionally towards the prospective purchaser when negotiating the sale of properties.
  • Flexible and willingness to travel to see instructions and attend viewings with applicants.
  • You will have experience working in International Sales, or have at least 5 to 10 years' experience working in a sales or customer service driven role, and will have excellent customer service skills.
  • It would be beneficial to have Spanish & Portuguese language skills, but not essential


The role will be based from our HQ in Baker Street, but will involve close collaboration with our associate offices across Spain & Portugal.

Full support will be provided by our high-performing operations team, and the role will report directly into our Head of International, Mark Harvey.
