My Life is a highly respected charity and we are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker / Personal Assistant to join a new team of Community based staff in Hindley.
My Life was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives.
My Life currently provides care and support to a growing number of individuals who have complex health and social care needs across the Northwest of England.
Our staff are integral to the success of the charity as they are the ones making a real difference to people's lives.
My Life are building up a team to support a wonderful young person in the local area.This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for high calibre, well-motivated and experience people to work as part of a great team.
You must be able to drive.The individual wants a good life doing great things regardless of their complex needs, so you need to have good energy and enjoy getting out in the community, visiting the stables, doing crafts and so much more.
Your Responsibilities
This role will be as a Support Worker / Personal Assistant for a young lady with a beautiful smile and a love of animals who enjoys getting out and about.
She lives in her own home supported by an established team who currently provide care for her on a 2:1 basis.
As an integral part of this friendly team, you will ensure that personal care is provided in a respectful manner, that this lady's daily support requirements are delivered in accordance with her healthcare plan and that her health, independence and wellbeing are prioritised.
What you'll need to Succeed
You will be an experienced Support Worker / Personal Assistant with a positive and proactive approach to care.
You will enjoy, socializing and being outdoors but fundamentally, you must be really interested in making a difference to this lady's life.
You will be a self-motivated, team player who has the ability to use initiative whilst being sensitive to the needs of others.
You will also hold a full driving licence.What you'll get in return

The salary will be up to £10.44 per hour (dependent upon on experience) plus a competitive benefits package.
