Haven Hall Hotel is one of the top luxury hotels on the Isle of Wight, owned and run by a husband and wife couple who are very hands-on in all operations of the hotel.

With up to 10 employees, we are a small family team, so the ability to jump in to do whatever is needed is essential.

This is a full time job paying £30,000 per year with annualised hours.

So, for the same pay every month (£2,500 per month minus NI & pension), you will be expected to work more hours per month during the summer when the hotel is open to the public, and less hours per month during the winter when the hotel is closed to the public.

For example:

this might be 8.5 hours per day for 6 days a week during April - September and 8.5 hours per day for 4 days a week for October - March.

All 28 days paid holiday per year must be taken during the winter when the hotel is closed. The actual hours per week is flexible but over 12 months you will have worked the equivalent of 52 weeks at 40 hours per week, and always paid the same every month (£2,500 minus NI and pension)

The acutal job is waiting on tables during breakfast (7:30am - 10:30am) and cleaning hotel bedrooms (10:30am - 4:00pm) plus any other work required for the smooth running of the hotel.
