SMASH Practitioner required to work across identified Secondary schools and communities in Hull and East Riding.

Initially this post will be in East Riding but there may be scope to move into the Hull area in the future.


Working in SMASH you will Manage a therapeutic caseload using an approved evidence base (SMASH Programme), deliver group intervention, 1-1 assessment, 1-1 intervention.

Attend related school and professional meetings.

Case manage the young people on your caseload and respond to the emotional and mental health needs that present using a systemic approach to care.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Practitioner who shows fantastic interpersonal skills and has extensive experience of working with young people and their families around low emotional resilience and mental health.

Higher education qualifications in social care, education, mental health work or behavioural studies are highly desirable but not essential. Experience of working with educational establishments, CAMHS or social care and multiagency working is essential to this role.


This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic practitioner to become part of a committed team to improving young people and their families social, emotional and behavioural self-management skills, through an early intervention and prevention approach to wellbeing and mental health.


We require one full time 0.93's equivalent the Post is a band 5 pro rata (42 weeks) to work 37.5hrs inclusive Monday to Friday.
