Are you a HR professional looking to work for an award-winning company in the who's office heart of Liverpool and can offer working from Home for up to 3 days per week? This could be just the role for you.


Working for a professional service company as part of a large HR function as on of their HR advisors this role is Monday to Friday and 09: :00 with mínimal travel required.

Your duties will in the main be generalist but exposure to employee relationsis beneficial, your duties will include:


  • Providing HR/employment advice to managers and employees as required
  • Supporting managers and employees on HR processes including redundancy
  • Reviewing HR processes and making recommendations for changes
  • Liaising with employees who are absent and the appropriate line manager
  • Making Occupational Health referrals where appropriate, building relationship with Occupational Health provider and discuss/implement recommendations with managers/supervisors
  • Supporting HR Assistants to ensure all general HR administration is up to date
  • Undertaking formal meetings such as grievances and disciplinary hearings
  • Supporting HR Assistants with the management of all aspects of the family leave process
  • Supporting line managers in dealing with performance management issues in their teams
  • Dealing with people issues both formal and informal
  • Managing and coordinating employee surveys
  • Assisting with policy review and making recommendations for changes
  • Involvement in any adhoc HR projects as required
As a preferred employer my client is looking for a HR professional who wants to be part of a well-established, growing organisation and the skills and qualification required:

  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum requirement).
  • Previous experience in providing HR advice on a range of HR related issues.
  • Excellent understanding of employment law.
  • A calm and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to operate in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Be able to work under own initiative
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside of normal office hours, if required
