Role - Quality Technician

Salary - £25,000- £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits

Type - Permanent
**Location

  • Newport**My client manufactures high technology components and systems for OEMs within a variety of industries. They are currently looking to take on a Quality Technician to join the team, on a permanent basis, in the Newport area.

The Quality Technician will ideally have the following attributes:


  • Industry experience working in a similar Quality role
  • Ability to communicate information, both technical and nontechnical, to internal stakeholders and customers in a concise manner
  • Good awareness of ISO 9001:2015 and familiarity with IS and 4500
  • Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety based upon safe working practices and support environmental initiatives
  • Ensure all work activities and records comply with Company Procedures, Policies and Codes of Practice
  • High level of professionalism and capability of being a strong ambassador for the company
  • Be selfmotivated with the ability of working on their own initiative
  • Willing to travel globally, and at stages, at short notice

The Quality Technician role will involve:

  • Planning of Product Measurements
  • Product Traceability


  • Customer Focus

  • Assistance with the Support of Delivering Deadlines
  • Prototype and Production Measurement Support
  • Maintaining Product Knowledge through attending Project Reviews
  • Maintaining and updating quality and production documents
  • Internal Audits. Process/Product/Systems
