The Opportunity
You will join 12 project engineers and process engineers, led by the Capital Projects and Engineering Manager.

This is an opportunity to deliver some exciting growth projects and ongoing capital projects at a site with unique capabilities and technology.

Our 9-hectare site houses the largest pharmaceutical spray dryer and continuous manufacturing API plant in the world.

This will be a contract opportunity for 1 year starting in Jan or Feb 23.


Your Responsibilities
Work with customers and stakeholders to design, cost, scope and schedule works.

Develop practical, innovative, cost effective engineering designs.

Control expenditure and time schedules, escalate project risks and hit targets.


Organise mechanical testing, commissioning and validation of new facilities and equipment, ensuring quality assurance, environmental, health and safety factors are adhered to in a GMP setting.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for 40 years and is located 15 miles east of Cambridge and 60 miles north of London, within the golden triangle.

It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient(API) Spray Drying and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO).

Haverhill is proud to house the world's largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and raredisease medicines supporting global markets.

The site is also developing a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.


Our Requirements
Degree qualified mechanical engineer.

Project support or project management experience gained in a pharmaceutical, medical device or petrochemical industry.

Experience in energy related projects, API manufacturing and GMP would all be desirable.
