About the role
You will be handling a variety of claims emanating from around the World and managing your own allocated portfolio of accounts.
Your portfolio will consist predominantly of open market business, with some binder exposure. The majority of your accounts will be placed on a wholesale basis; there may be a combination of direct and some reinsurance accounts.
For major clients you will be responsible for maintaining the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers.
You will be required to meet the agreed Service Standards, work volumes and performance levels in line with the Key Performance Indicators and handle claims efficiently in a proactive manner including the physical and/or electronic broking, negotiations, management of claims and the payment process. You will be responsible for processing your own work in ECF
You will be reporting to the Team Leader and working alongside the Claims Advocate on large, contentious or complex losses.
You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, via Lockton internal claims systems and through ECF forms.

Qualification:

Ideally a minimum of 7 years' experience dealing with complex programme arrangements and significantly so within the global property area.
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking influencing and negotiation skills.
Proficient in using the London market systems e.g. ECF, CLASS.
ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.
