full time, permanent basisat our Westminster Bridge Road Office in
South East London. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£58,000 - £60,000 per annum.

What we're looking for in our Innovation Teaching, Learning & Assessment Manager:

  • Experienced in working with the OFSTED Education Inspection framework and other standards to achieve successful outcomes in and around teaching and learning and the overall quality of education
  • Experienced in developing teaching and the use of innovative approaches to teaching and learning to raise standards in teaching, learning and assessment
  • A teaching qualification (at least a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS))
  • Experience in mentoring/coaching others to support classroom improvement & innovation in curriculum and lesson planning
  • Experience delivering high quality CPD to support improvement in standards across an organisation
  • Experience in leading and managing an observation process to improve the quality of TLA delivery

What you can expect to be doing as our Innovation Teaching, Learning & Assessment Manager:

  • Working with the Academy Team in achieving its vision and mission and developing and implementing Peabody's Strategic Plan
  • Ensuring the rigorous implementation of designated quality assurance procedures and associated quality improvement plans according to Academy standards and in line with Ofsted and awarding body requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinating, managing and overseeing the quality assurance cycle across the Academy and support the development of excellence in quality improvement for teaching, learning and assessment (TLA) and tutorial across the organisation and with agreed partners
  • Analysing the appropriate data and information to identify themes and actions to ensure appropriate and timely impact of improvement in QA and innovation
  • Leading the observation process to improve the quality of TLA delivery
  • Managing a team of colleagues allocated to improve and innovate teaching, learning and assessment practices, according to Peabody processes and procedures (induction, settling in period, connected conversations, performance) and address underperformancewhere necessary
  • This Innovation Teaching Learning & Assessment Manager role will require an Enhanced DBS check and a minimum of 2 days working in the office. _
