A great opportunity has arisen to join our busy Logistics Export's team based in Ipswich.


You will be responsible for ensuring export orders are handled efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaising with Customers and Principals.
  • Preparation and presentation of export documents
  • Preparation and presentation of bills of lading, Waybills, Manifests, invoices, Customs documents and any other documentation as required
  • Ensuring full compliance of appropriate legislation and regulations and all documentation relevant to the movement of cargo
  • Completion of the full range of Cory Logistics services to clients and further build these opportunities through client relationship development
  • Filing of data and performing other routine clerical tasks as needed
  • Performing duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner, ensuring 100% coverage of the work station
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers and managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of the business
  • Executing the responsibilities of the job in accordance with Company rules, Policies and Procedures and lawful ethical standards

About you

  • Considerable experience of Ocean Freight
  • Understanding of landside logistics
  • Knowledge of Global and UK Freight markets
  • Appreciation of Internation Suppy Chains
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Previous experience of delivering excellent client focused service
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain focus
  • Ability to deals with multiple tasks
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to seek ways to improve and promote quality
  • IT literacy including knowledge of MS word/excel/outlook
  • Team worker with the ability to work collaboratively and able to use own initiative
Competitive salary

12 months fixed term contract (maternity cover)

Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00
