Description
The Therapy and Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine Business Unit wish to appoint a highly motivated, and experienced therapist to the post of Operational Therapy Lead for Emergency Department and Trauma and Orthopaedic inpatient services,


You will form part of a team of Operational Therapy Leads who work closely together to manage all the Acute and Community Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy Services across University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).

You will work closely with your peers to ensure clear communication across the Business Unit.


You will ideally have experience of managing Therapy staff either as an operational or team leader, with wide knowledge and working practise of managing a team.

Knowledge and understanding of Admission Avoidance and inpatient T&O pathways would be desirable.


You will need to be flexible, innovative, courageous, with proven leadership skills and an ability to organise and develop services.

You must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
