Here in Horsham, we are ramping up our production and distribution to support our growing number of customers.

The majority of the pharmaceuticals we handle daily are destined for use in Clinical Trials, providing a critical role in bringing new therapies to patients.


Situated on the outskirts of Horsham, your own transport is preferable, however, we also have a staff shuttle bus available.


Position Summary:

The position is based in the Manufacturing & Packaging area and requires the individual to work in accordance with documented procedures/standards in order to complete duties within the allotted timescales and to customer specifications and to supervise small teams of Associates.

This is a fast-paced position that constantly requires a high level of productivity and accuracy. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity, and high levels of accuracy.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); complying with legal regulations.
  • Take ownership of delivery of quality at all times
  • Highlight and propose solutions to any H&S risk, near misses, or accidents.
  • Follow and maintain compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) through training and refresher programmes
  • Effectively communicate with other departments.
  • Supervise a small team focusing on job accomplishment.
  • Assist in the identification and correction of problems to prevent downtime.
  • Responsible for equipment and room set up and completion of GxP paperwork.
  • Stage job components, initiate paperwork, reconcile batches, purge and clean rooms and equipment
  • Highlight and improve process efficiencies to achieve business objectives.
  • Undertake any other duties on an adhoc basis as required by the Line Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English & Mathematics
  • Computer literate

Essential Skills / Experience:


  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Good standard of English (verbal & written)
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent attention to detail with good handeye coordination with excellent manual and finger dexterity.
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices or previous experience in a Manufacturing or Packaging Environment
  • Able to undertake physical tasks within Health & Safety guidelines

Although not essential, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

  • Worked within a GMP or highly regulated environment
  • Worked within an operational environment.
  • Comfortable working within 28 degrees with appropriate PPE
  • Working under amber lighting
