Quality Engineer
Edinburgh (Hybrid 1-2 days in office) or (Remote)
6 months with scope to extend

PAY RATE:
Circa £550 per day
Our client has a mission to build the bank of the future, and they need your help to do it
We're looking for someone with an automation first approach to Testing and a focus on reducing risk. They will have a passion for leading productivity and are more than capable of bootstrapping projects.

They can work effectively with multi-disciplinary, internaland external distributed teams and are experienced in guiding, coaching and helping colleagues grow their potential.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers and DevOps Teams to build refine design, functionality, features and experiments.
Participate in design and process reviews and enhance the team's capability.
Identify and address quality/performance issues and implement QE and engineering best practices.
Build efficient and reusable systems and work to enhance QE process in the Lab and Value Stream.

What skills and experience should I have?

As a Quality Engineer you will have a Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering background.
You will be probably ISTQB Certified and have deep knowledge of the Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools.
You will be experienced in defining Quality Engineering and Assurance work, producing quality test artefacts in an agile delivery environment.
