Primary Functions & Responsibilities The role of Placement IT Manager based in Didcot; Oxfordshire offers a variety of challenges with high priority clients


The role includes:

  • Supporting internal IT functions of client placement (on/site & remote)
  • Supporting onsite Director of IT Services
  • User requests
  • Client IT task lists
  • License Management
  • Asset Tracking & Auditing
  • Facilitating & attending internal & supplier meetings
  • Support continuation & development of ongoing IT plan
  • Maintain an excellent partnership with all stakeholders in the business
  • Lead and assist with projects and programs
  • Communicate and people manage within the helpdesk team
  • Monitor team performance, process improvement and prepare and present QBRs on the Helpdesk teams' performance
  • Keep uptodate with developments of the clients business, products and with wider technology trends
Requirements & Experience

Applicants for this position should be ambitious with a strong work ethic and excellent client communications.

This is a placement position for a high priority client that will see a successful applicant leading the ongoing management & delivery of IT servicesto this client.

As a member of the helpdesk team, you will be joining a growing and experienced team in supporting a wide variety of technologies.

  • Required:
  • Excellent Client Service in written, telephone and direct communications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience in corporate or managed service environment
  • Experience in coordinating & presenting in front of management staff
  • IT Project Management & Delivery
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk processes, ticketing and escalations
  • Desirable Experience:
  • Exposure to Sophos Anti-Virus
  • Exposure to Veeam Backup & Replication
