Description

Our client, one of the UK's largest and well-known Transport and Logistics companies are looking to add to their team of HGV2/7.5t drivers for an equally well-known high-street furniture retailer.

Newly Passed Drivers Welcome

The role.
Full training will be provided on the assembly of these items.

This role will be focused on the service; therefore, politeness and courtesy must be shown at all times.

This is a temporary position with the opportunity to lead to a permanent employment opportunity following 12 week trial period where performance, attendance and attitude will be considered.

Hours.
This contract is operational from Monday-Saturday therefore weekend working will be required.

The rota is typically 4 out of 6 days working each day is planned at 12.75 hours in length.

Start times between

Overtime often available - working hours permitting.

Requirements.

Current valid UK Cat C or C1 driving licence entitlement.
Current valid DQC and driver card.
No more than 6 endorsement points
No DR, DD or CD endorsements.
Good level of spoken English as this is a customer facing role.
A fair understanding including experience of the use of basic tools and furniture assembly.

Paid Weekly Overtime Premiums
