Day shift are available, ,22 hours per week, 2 shifts per week


Location:
Tauton,Gotton Manor, TA2


The care home provides residential, nursing, palliative care and dementia care for up to 29 older people, from respite stays to long-term residence.

The home was once a manor house. It has been refurbished with tasteful, modern decoration and is still surrounded by acres of countryside.

It is a 10-minute drive into the town of Taunton, Somerset, where residents can access shops, amenities and a railway station.

Pay rates start at £22 per hour

  • Administer medication safely
  • Good write and spoken of English
  • Experience in the UK is desirable
  • Create and update individualized care plans and documentation
  • Deliver handson nursing care to ensure the wellbeing and health of our residents
  • Have an excellent understanding of the standards set by CQC
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns, 7day over rota

Nurse Responsibilities

  • Leading the care team during your shifts
  • Make certain that we fully meet residents' medical, physical and emotional requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework
  • Mentor and motivate colleagues
  • Champion residents' safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring optimum client care is maintained by managing patient care plans and risk assessments
  • Providing a highest standard of quality care of patients
  • Promote and maintain high standards of clinical practice
  • To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate resident care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care
