Semi Skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator.
Core Working hours: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

Cooney South is based in Poole (Near Tower Park) and manufactures High-end bespoke Stainless Steel and Aluminium Fabrications for the Marine and Super Yacht Sectors.

Cooney South works closely with its sister company Cooney Marine who are not only well respected within the marine industry but have been a leader in this sector for well over 50 years.

The vacancy available is for a Semi Skilled Welder / Fabricator specialising in TIG Welding on Stainless Steel and Aluminium and occasional MIG on mild steel.

We are looking for some one who holds a positive can do attitude, is motivated, enthusiastic, while being results driven.

Excellent communication skills a respectful nature with the ability to work well under pressure is essential.

This is a physical Job and demands an efficient hard-working approach with a passion for quality.

In busy times a flexible approach to additional hours must be a consideration.

Duties will include Fabricating / TIG welding of components in either Stainless Steel or Aluminium
working towards the ability to work from drawing to a high standard taking responsibility and ensuring that stringent quality standards are met throughout the process.
