As an IT Apprentice you will be assisting the IT team in ensuring that all routines are carried out in an accurate and timely manner.
This is an important role to support the company's growth plan and is an amazing opportunity to gain Information communicationstechnician qualification while working alongside passionate people.
You must be a good communicator, hardworking and have exceptional work ethics.Duties include:
- Service desk support, using the agreed Service Desk platforms, delivering a prompt response and resolution to raised issues.
- Laptop / Desktop Build & Support; maintaining all Pc's and Laptops used by all employees, liaising with manufactures and software vendors to resolve issues.
- Office 365 administration, ensuring the correct utilisation of licenses
- Administer software subscriptions, ensuring the correct utilisation of licenses.
- To maintain Windows updates on all laptops/PC's.
- Complete basic administration of SIP based telephone system.
- Support the changes and processes required for any of the IT solutions being used.
The IT Solutions Technician (ITSA) primary function is to proactively support all BG Sports Employees within the group, ensuring all technology functions that they utilise is fit for purpose and allows them to continue with their day-to-day job.
The ITSTwould maintain all the end user software licenses within their asset management system, reporting to the Head of IT & Digital any shortfalls or over consumption.
The ITST would work and liaise with all members of the IT team, ensuring activities and changesare communicated across the department.
ITST would create and maintain documented procedures covering the activities they are involved in. The ITST will record all support issues within the agreed platform, escalating issues to others in the department.
For this role applicants will need to be passionate about Information communication technology and motivated to start a career in IT.
This role will be supported by a level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification supported by Starting Off.
