Summary

Yealand CE Primary School is a small semi-rural school set in beautiful grounds, with a supportive and caring community.

The school is a family and over the past few years has grown in size and now has a Nursery class alongside two other classes.

Presently, this position is temporary for the Summer Term with the view to becoming a permanent position from Autumn 2023 onwards.

The role is to support the KS2 class pupils working alongside a very experienced teacher. Term time only, Thursday and Friday working days; 8am start finishing at 3:15 with 30 minutes for lunch.
We can offer a friendly and supportive environment which cares for all of the school family.

The days are varied and the staff are inspirational in their approach to teaching and learning employing a number of different strategies and approaches, therefore no two days are the same.

The school has it's own minibus which enables teachers to plan lots of outdoor activities and visits to enhance the learning.

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post(or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Safeguarding Training

  • Working in a classroom/ school environment
