Trinity Business Support are working with an established company in Sunderland, who are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong background within Admin, looking to upskill and progress into a more HR Admin focused position.
You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent bunch of people, in a very supportive and welcoming work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the HR inbox ensuring all HR related queries are dealt with in line with SLAs, escalating to the CPO where appropriate.
- Supporting managers with basic employee relations queries, taking notes at meetings where required.
- Management of all the new starter administration, ensuring employee files are kept fully up to date.
- Ensure relevant preemployment checks are carried out and documented in line with Company policy e.g. reference, DBS and credit checks.
- Keeping the internal HR system up to date with new starters, change of terms such as salary changes and promotions.
- Sending probation reminders to managers and ensuring review meetings are booked in.
- Supporting the team with HR administrative letter writing such as change of hours/ terms, passed probations, reference requests and salary review.
- Support the team with administration of internal communications across the business.
- Other ad hoc administrative duties as required by the business.
Requirements:
- Strong experience as an Administrator.
- Highly organised and able to manage your own time effectively.
- Any experience within an HR remit is desirable.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Able to manage a heavy workload and prioritise own workload.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Pay:
£ £11.70 DOE - training will be provided.
