*Salary:* £21,403- £28,828 per annum(dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner, looking for a role where you can actively develop your leadership skills, to support your progression to Room Leader / Third in Charge?


The Future Leaders Programme at Bright Horizons is a 12-month talent programme investing in colleagues who demonstrate leadership potential, developing and ensuring high-quality leaders of the future.

It combines leadership and management, with pedagogy, creating a sector specific programme. This course will be delivered virtually, with 1 x 3-hour module per month.

*What you'll be doing*- Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones

  • Observe, track and reflect on learning
  • Develop and maintain strong parent / carer partnerships
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment on a daytoday basis.
  • Attend and contribute towards monthly workshops, whilst completing the 12month Future Leaders Programme.
*What we're looking for*- Full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification

  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Commitment to completing the 12month programme, and attending monthly, virtual training sessions.
