The Instructional Designer will be part of the Digital Learning team, a small, specialist team who maintain, develop, and deliver digital learning assets for CA students using Articulate Storyline 360, and other tools as required.

Working with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), the Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing new interactive material and updating existing resources for post-graduate level students.

The post holder will also suggest and implement improvements to learning content on both a module and course level, investigate alternative approaches, act as a SME for instructional design best practices, and will help with the testing and uploading of resources to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) prior to their release.

The Digital Learning team are responsible for the creation and delivery of approximately 500+ online resources released to approximately 3000 students in total per academic year.

The Instructional Designer will therefore need to be comfortable managing a broad portfolio of projects, often involving other departments within ICAS, and sometimes tight deadlines.
