More detail about the role The clinical work will include regular genetics outpatient clinics at locations in the South West Peninsula, for example in Exeter, Barnstaple, Plymouth,Torquay, and Truro.

As the transformation project progresses there will be clinics in Taunton, Bristol and possibly other hospitals in Somerset and Gloucestershire, depending where the appointee is based and clinical need.

Referral patterns vary and the post will incorporate flexibility in service delivery, with the aim of maintaining the waiting times within national targets and with equity across the region.

The post-holder will have the opportunity to develop a special interest and will contribute to relevant multi-disciplinary team meetings.
