About the role


As part of our executive support team, you'll be involved in all areas of the business and will be the first point of contact for our colleagues, clients and suppliers.


From screening incoming calls, managing and organising diaries, keeping notes, scheduling meetings and assisting with stock management, the Board Secretary can expect to enjoy a very busy but varied day.

Working alongside our Executive Assistant and reporting to our company directors, the role will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Managing diaries, organizing and scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, collating and distributing meeting materials, attending meetings, taking minutes and managing actions.
  • Producing, amending and updating reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Taking care of orders of office supplies and other materials.

Your experience

  • Highly skilled multitasker; can prioritise own workload effectively and work within tight timeframes.
  • Flexible and proactive with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with directors, senior managers and other stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Experience in using all Microsoft Office products in particular Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities with the ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
A full UK driving licence would also be advantageous although not essential.
