The Council is seeking a competent energy professional to join our award winning Climate Emergency team as an Energy Officer.

As an Energy Officer you will play a key role in improving the energy performance of the Council's operational property estate.

Working with the Climate Emergency Team and colleagues across the Council you will help drive forward strategic objectives for the management, reduction of energy, water and carbon and the optimisation of sustainable on-site generation.

Expected within the role is to provide a comprehensive utility management service to the Council, and in particular to minimise the Council's energy, carbon and water consumption and costs in the Council's Corporate, education estate and commercial asset portfolios.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
