An ambitious Tech4Good start-up is looking for a Ruby Developer to help develop their ground-breaking platform.

Having previously relied on external resource to get their product off the ground, they're now looking to scale a small in-house development team.

They've been running for 5 years and have seen huge success so far with the launch of their prototype. They're now working on the final product for release.

You'll play a key role in shaping the success of the platform which has already been hailed as a gamechanger for the NFP sector.

What skills you'll need:

Demonstrable Ruby on Rails experience.
Understanding of software engineering principles & practices (e.g Git, Version Control).
Skilled in frontend development; HTML, CSS, JavaScript (TailwindCSS would be great).
Awareness of Agile/Scrum.
A selfstarter and the ability to work autonomously.

What you'll be doing

Your initial focus will be greenfield coding for the recreation and release of their app with plans to go live in the New Year.

Following the initial release and working alongside the Senior Developer and one other, you'll then work on new feature requestswith the opportunity to support more integrated apps going forward.

This role offers a great level of autonomy where you'll have the freedom to implement new tech and tooling and help shape the technical direction of the product.

They have huge goals for growthincluding plans to add more mobile apps to their suite.

They're a small company so progression is rapid in a role which offers a huge amount of flexibility and growth potential.
