I am currently recruiting for a Senior Business Support Officer to work at my client, a leading public sector organisation in Sheffield (S2).
You will be supporting Facilities Management and the Housing Repairs team in delivering transactional activities.
Duties will include:
- Being the first point of contact for repairs and anything else in relation to Council Buildings.
- Day to day supervision of team.
- Input, maintain, locate and retrieve data using computerised and manual systems.
- Arrange meetings and events.
- Diary management.
- Process orders/invoices through to payment using established IT systems.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be highly organised, proactive and a self-starter, with a sound understanding of business processes.
- Need to be competent in the use of IT packages (Office, Outlook, Teams etc). Training will be given in the systems used to take telephone calls and repairs transactions.
- Ability to supervise day to day individual and team performance.
- Ability to take minutes of complex meetings and produce accurate records.
- Ability to produce accurate financial and other information using computerised and manual systems.
