SJC Partners have been mandated by a leading boutique Investment Bank who are looking to grow their Healthcare & Life Sciences business to recruit an experienced M&A professional at the Assistant Director grade.


Your key responsibilities will cover:

  • Working within a team to execute M&A transactions (the bulk of which are on the sell side) covering the Healthcare and Life Sciences midmarket space (deal size ranging from £10m to £150m EV with a sweet spot of £25m£70m) including; preparation of marketingmaterials, development and review of due diligence reports, general financial analysis and overall process coordination
  • Attending client meetings; developing existing relationships and building new ones
  • Running and developing financial and operating models for marketing and transaction purposes
  • Assisting with the production of client presentations and documents (including pitch books, valuation materials, etc.)
  • Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members producing Information Memoranda, financial models and other transaction documentation
  • Originating and delivering transaction ideas, identifying opportunities, opening and leveraging relationships
  • Leading the development of pitch documents and taking a lead role in client pitches

Applications should possess a minimum of 5 years M&A experience and be able to run a deal from start to finish with Healthcare and Life Sciences exposure.

Individuals who have previously joined have been engaged by the culture of an entrepreneurial, boutiquewhere autonomy and the freedom to roam replace bureaucracy and red tape.

The only limit to progression and remuneration is your ambition and this is facilitated by their organisational structure, their growth trajectory and a transparent remuneration modeloffering a much closer relationship between what you bill and what you earn than competing firms (the bonus is on a deal by deal basis as opposed to purely annual).
