What you'll do

As the Head of Convenience Trading for Sainsbury's, your role will focus on driving the performance of the Convenience business to align with our "First Choice for Food" strategy.

You will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally to tailor our range and propositions to meet the needs of local consumers, ensuring our value offer remains consistent and relevant in this channel.

With accountability for the core commercial levers within the Convenience business, you will take decisive action to maximise the business's short-term, medium-term, and long-term performance.

Your responsibilities will also include identifying, scoping, and delivering change initiatives to drive profitable growth, driving commercial performance through events, promotions, and value strategy, and continuing to refine and tailor the customer proposition within Convenience.

Your leadership will inspire and develop your team and navigate ambiguity to lead change, while building strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
