Regulatory & Reporting Product Lead, Sustainable1

The Team:
This is a team that sits within S&P Global's Sustainable1(S1) business, an organization focused on ESG data, analytics and solutions.
The role will interact with the S1 team and SPGI's divisional ESG teams as well as with professionals within the sustainability space to deliver superior solutions that support clients analytical and reporting needs.
We are seeking a Senior Director/VP to lead our Regulatory & Reporting Solutions product line, execute on the roadmap, and expand our footprint globally.

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the vertical team responsible for owning, executing, and evolving Sustainable1's products and solutions that support regulatory and stakeholder reporting needs.
As lead, you will direct teams, prioritize initiatives, and be responsible for the roadmap, developing and launching Sustainabl1's sustainability capabilities across multiple delivery channels.
Partner with horizontal platform/tools/data management services teams to integrate data & analytics into desktop workflow and portfolio tools and integrated delivery platforms to drive maximum user adoption.
Engage with customers and stakeholders to document user/persona workflows, uncover market needs and business problems and translate into user requirements, features and solutions.
Collaborate with design team and clients to develop world class ESG solutions comprised of data, research, analytical tools & models based on client needs.
Own and update the product roadmap and report updates to the leadership team.Work with marketing and commercial to lead and/or contribute to GTM planning which includes sales training, collateral creation, promotion and marketing activities.
Work across other divisions to coordinate on roadmap, GTM planning, joint marketing activities (webinars, events/ conferences, product launches); collaborate across SPGI to maximize our positioning in the market; provide world-class client service to our customers.
Support the business in meeting usage and sales growth targets by participating in deals as the product expert, presenting roadmap material, demonstrating capabilities and feature sets, and positioning our Sustainability/ESG intellectual property; provide support on deal approvals; measure product performance (usage data, sales performance, platform migration progress, KPIs, etc.)Represent S1 at external events & activities including client webinars, industry events, meetings.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape impacting sustainable businesses and investments; experience helping clients understand and translate reporting frameworks including TCFD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD, CSDD, and other regional/local regulations in key markets
12+ years of product experience within the financial industry; track record of success in launching and managing data & analytics products; ability to manage the end-to-end product development life cycle
Lead client and market interactions to uncover needs; understand competitive landscape, market standards & methodologies; follow regulatory developments landscape and market trends; face off with stakeholders focused on regulatory/policy functions
Experience working within the Scaled Agile development framework
Natural curiosity about our products and market trends and how we can serve them
Tech savvy - understand latest technologies for desktop and feed product development
Ability to influence, negotiate and build trust (SPGI leadership and across S&P Divisions); must be strong communicator
Juggle multiple projects
Capable of building out and influencing a network of partners and resources from existing pool of talent in and outside ESG teams.
Presentation skills (both in spoken and written formats), e.g. strategic plan development, strong PowerPoint skills, client interaction skills, training, business / financial analysis & reportingCommand respect with senior audiences both internal and external
Lead and drive discussion to leading to successful outcomes
Problem solving
Collaboration across global teams and with multiple functional roles including technology, data & content operations, client services
Preferred Qualifications:
Product Development and/or consulting experience within the Sustainability/ESG space.
